This Privacy Policy applies to the website and online services operated as “FLIP” by Aleksandra Dubrovskaia, IČO 23701692, a sole proprietor registered in the Czech Republic (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or creating an account, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Unless defined otherwise, terms in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms of Service.

1. About This Policy

This page explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal data when you use the FLIP Service, and which rights you have under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR).

Roles. We act as a Data Controller for personal data we collect about site visitors and account holders. We act as a Data Processor where we process personal data on behalf of a Client (e.g., within Client-provided materials or tools used to deliver the Service). Where we act as a Processor, the Data Processing Addendum (DPA) referenced in our Terms of Service applies.

2. Definitions

• Service — the FLIP website and platform.
• Personal Data — information relating to an identifiable individual.
• Usage Data — information collected automatically during site usage (e.g., IP address, device type, browser details, page activity).
• Cookies — small text files stored on your device that enable website functionality and analytics.

• Data Subject (User) — any individual who visits our website, creates an account, or uses our services.

3. Information We Collect

• Billing-related information (processed securely by Stripe)

Usage Data (collected automatically):

• Device and browser type
• Pages visited and actions on the site
• Time and date of visits

Cookies & tracking technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and (where required) personalize or measure advertising. Where consent is required by law, we request it via our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via your browser settings or the Cookie settings link (if provided) on our site.

4. Account and Subscription Data

You may create an account for free; access to paid features requires an active subscription. You may update some personal information in your account settings and manage billing/subscription via the Stripe Customer Portal. To delete your Personal Data or close your account, contact contact@weflip.studio (deletion isn’t automated via the account).

• Provide and maintain the Service

• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Send updates or relevant information (where permitted)

Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the “unsubscribe” link or by contacting contact@weflip.studio. Service/transactional emails will continue.

6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Contract performance (providing access to paid features)
• Consent (analytics and marketing cookies; email marketing where required)
• Legitimate interests (security, improvement, B2B direct marketing with opt-out, where permitted)
• Legal obligation (tax, accounting, compliance)

7. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Microsoft Clarity to understand usage and improve UX. You can disable analytics via browser/cookie preferences and—where required—via our cookie banner.

8. Advertising & Remarketing

We may use Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) via Meta Pixel to show ads to prior visitors. You can adjust ad personalization in Google Ads Settings, Meta Ad Preferences, and your browser’s cookie settings. Where required by law, we request explicit consent via a cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies.

9. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Project files/deliverables are retained per our Terms of Service (File Delivery, Storage & Deletion) (e.g., 30 days after a task is marked Completed), after which they may be deleted.

10. Data Transfers

Our infrastructure and third-party tools may process data in the EU and the United States (e.g., hosting and analytics/ads providers). For international transfers, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, the UK IDTA/Addendum. For U.S. providers participating in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, we may rely on their certification.

11. Data Disclosure (Legal Grounds)

We may disclose Personal Data to comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse or security threats, protect our rights, or meet tax/audit requirements.

12. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., TLS in transit, access controls). If we become aware of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and/or authorities as required by law.

13. Your Rights (GDPR)

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent (where applicable). Contact: contact@weflip.studio. We may ask for identity verification. We aim to respond within 30 days (or within the timeframe required by law) and may extend by up to two further months where requests are complex or numerous (we will inform you of any extension and reasons). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

14. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from minors.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy; changes take effect when posted with a new effective date.
